Fat Transfer to Buttocks – Brazilian Butt Lift
It’s a procedure that goes by many names: autologous fat transfer, fat transfer to the buttocks, and the most notorious one: the Brazilian Butt Lift. Despite its many monikers, the Brazilian butt lift is one of the most reliable methods of creating natural-looking, voluptuous buttocks. The Brazilian butt lift looks so natural because it uses your own tissue, making your butt move and feel native to your body; even more remarkable is that by using your own tissue, the risk of infection is reduced.
Like most fat grafting procedures, fat transfer to the buttocks works by extracting unwanted fat, processing it, and then skillfully injecting it to create volume and contour the buttocks. To extract the fat, Aesthetx uses the state-of-the-art Hydrasolve tissue liquefaction system. Fat grafting results rely on the purity and viability of the fat graft, and with its gentle and precise fat extraction system, Hydrasolve liquefies fat, which makes it easier to extract it without disturbing surrounding tissue. This leads to cleaner grafts, which lead to longer-lasting, smoother, and more predictable Brazilian butt lift.
Aesthetx prides itself on using the best technology for breathtaking results, it’s why they use the PureGraft system to process the fat grafting samples. PureGraft uses an advanced lipodyalisis system to create some of the cleanest, most concentrated fat grafts for donation. With the combination of advanced technology and the impressive technical skill of our Aesthetx surgeons, our fat transfer to the buttocks will give you the breathtakingly perky, voluptuous, and youthful figure you’ve always wanted.
History of the Brazilian Butt Lift
Throughout history, full, round buttocks were always seen as sensuous and desirable for a woman, with standards of beauty across cultures often involving a woman having a curvy silhouette. For the last 40 years there have been concerted efforts to find the best way to create increase volume to create smooth, round buttocks. In 1969, Dr. RJ Bartels pioneered using a “Cronin-Gerow” silicone breast implant to create volume in the buttocks, however the results were aesthetically supbar, and the technique was not adopted. Other techniques by Dr. Gonzalez-Ulloa and later by Dr. Robles experimented with other implants and placement, but there were still considerable issues. Soon, liposuction started to grow in popularity, and fat grafting began to look like a viable alternative for creating volume in the buttocks.
It all changed in the 90s, when the Brazilian Butt Lift was developed by celebrated Brazilian plastic surgeon, Dr. Ivo Pitanguy. After exploding in popularity in South America, the Brazilian Butt Lift has grown to be one of the most popular procedures in the world.
