Aesthetic Physician Assistant

Gigi is a board-certified Physician Assistant practicing in plastic surgery & dermatology. Gigi attended University of California, Davis and later went on to receive graduate training at Marist College in New York. Graduating as one of the top of her class, Gigi has always had a drive for excellence to provide patients with the highest standard of care. Her love for beauty & art came at an early age where she would often give her friends & family makeovers (no was not an answer). It was only a matter of time before her love for science & anatomy followed. Gigi is an especially passionate member of the Aesthetx team as it allows her to combine her creative artistic mind with her advanced medical knowledge so she can optimally assess, educate, & treat patients. Gigi’s focus surrounds providing care for patients throughout the perioperative period in addition to assisting in surgery and offering aesthetic procedures of her own, such as: neuromodulators, fillers, and in-office minor procedures. Her motivation to provide patients with satisfactory results allows her to focus on minute details and nuances. She takes pride in her ability to formulate a unique treatment plan to provide each patient with a harmonious and refined result. Gigi has an outgoing and striving personality that often finds herself breaking through her limits with new challenging hiking trails and exploring all that the Bay Area has to offer.

Virginia has over 15 years of experience in plastic surgery & aesthetic nursing. Since 2017, she has been an Allergan Medical Institute Trainer & is dedicated to not only educating new injectors but also inspiring them in the art of aesthetic injectables. She has a passion for guiding patients in appropriate treatments & providing natural, beautiful outcomes by implementing her knowledge of art & science. Additionally, Virginia is committed to continuing her education within the ever-changing aesthetic industry by attending Master Classes, participating in many training programs, & staying current with new trends & clinical studies.

Elaina is a Northern California native who started her career as an esthetician, 10 years prior to becoming a registered nurse for Aesthetx. As an aesthetic nurse, for the last 6 years, Elaina has specialized in youthful, natural results for her patients. Elaina has had the privilege of working alongside our plastic surgeons here at Aesthetx and has gained a wealth of knowledge from seeing patients achieve the results they are looking for. She has always had a passion for aesthetic medicine & connecting with her patients to help them feel confident, focusing on our messaging and motto, 'You. Only Better'. With her experience, she will provide optimal guidance on a skincare plan using the vast treatments we specialize in at Aesthetx, she can set up your foundation with a top-of-the-line at-home regimen and will add in some bonus tips and tricks along the way.

Helen is a Board Certified Registered Nurse for over a decade, with a Bachelors in Science in Nursing, as well as a BA in Communications from UCSB. Working on the Medical-Surgical unit in Orange County before relocating to Silicon Valley refined her talent of multi-tasking, organizing, and remaining calm under pressure. Helen’s passion in fitness, health, organization, and design coupled with her meticulous eye and steady hand, eventually led her to the field of Aesthetic Medicine. After earning her certification in lasers and injectables, she hit the ground running at Aesthetx where her favorite treatments to administer include: Lasers (HALO, Profractional for scars, Clear&Brilliant, and VBeam), Skin Tightening with Profound RF, Microneedling (with PRP), Neuromodulators (BOTOX®, Daxxify injections), Filler Injectables (Midface, Lips), Body Contouring (Coolsculpting), and Skincare including MicroGLO Plus and medical-grade topicals. Hailing from beautiful Monterey, nature has always guided her aesthetic eye to what is most balanced, attractive, and light-filled. Outside of Aesthetx, Helen enjoys curating her home, staying fit (and sane) with Pilates and Barry’s, and traveling with her family.

Licensed Esthetician

After 15 years as a licensed esthetician, Kristin has transitioned her career from the tranquil spa environment to our result-driven medical esthetician practice. She attended California State University, Chico where she studied Studio Art with an emphasis in painting and drawing the human form. She went on to become a licensed esthetician, taking her passion from an artist’s canvas to the unique canvas of the human body. Having gone through her own plastic surgery journey, following a breast cancer diagnosis and double mastectomy with breast reconstruction, her love for plastic surgery, skincare, and desire to connect with others evolved immensely. With every medical-grade facial and skin treatment, Kristin provides not only her expertise and talent as an experienced esthetician, but a radiant enthusiasm to inspire her patients to feel confident in their own transformative beauty, inside and out.

Melissa Seehusen is a dedicated nurse with over 20 years of experience, specializing in aesthetics, for the past 9 years. Passionate about helping people look and feel their best, Melissa integrates a variety of treatments including bio-regenerative techniques to provide natural, long-lasting results for her clients. Melissa strives to enhance both the confidence and well-being of everyone she works with.

Outside of work, Melissa is a proud mom of three amazing daughters, loves her animals, and enjoys everything outdoors. She loves working for Aesthetx because of their forward-thinking approach and dedication to providing patient-focused, elevated care. Melissa finds it inspiring to be part of a team that consistently strives for excellence and prioritizes the well-being and satisfaction of every patient.
