How Is the Procedure Performed?

You’ll be kept comfortable with appropriate anesthesia and medications. Although it looks as though this is a painful procedure throughout the healing phase, it usually is not. There are 8-9 hours of a burning, stinging sensation after application of the peel that generally subsides after the first post-peel day.

How long is the downtime?

Plan for 7-10 days of active healing before social downtime improves. Pinkness can persist for weeks and fades gradually.
